Welcome to the series on weekly transits, out every Monday afternoon!
Today the Sun and Mercury are conjunct in Libra. After all the confusion of the mutable signs, I think we all have a chance to see clearly. The fog has lifted. And what we see is, well, kind of a mess.
So many people were impacted by Hurricane Helene. It even made its way to my little corner of Ohio, causing hundreds of thousands to lose power. And now that more people are getting internet and cell signal, we’re seeing the incredible devastation left by the mutable square’s perfect storm.
But we can’t stand still, agog at out losses, can we? The transits for the week have moved to cardinal signs, and it’s time to do something!
On Wednesday, we have a New Moon eclipse in Libra. Yes, we’re facing difficulty, but the operative word there is WE. And while eclipses are times when fate takes the wheel, Libra never does anything entirely alone. In fact, no one is ever truly operating independently. In some way or another, we all rely on each other.
On Friday, Venus will trine Saturn, which may help us ground ourselves in the realization that the only way out of this mess is to work together.
Finally, on Sunday, Mercury in Libra will square Mars in Cancer. This energy will dominate next week, so be prepared now – there is a very real possibility that you or someone you know could embark on a months-long tantrum. You do not want to be this person, do you?
Remember, every time you wonder if maybe all of this is about you, stop and remember that this is LIBRA we’re talking about. All of this is about all of us. If we keep that in mind, we can spare ourselves a lot of pain.
